
Production Scheduler

Reporting into the Multi-Function Supply Chain Manager, the Production Scheduler is the liaison between the operations office and shopfloor. The role is 10% factory and 90% office based. Core hours 7am-3pm, but hours as per the needs of the business.
Your Tasks
- Schedule production to satisfy customer demands and meet OTD targets.
- Optimising and planning internal glass toughening.
- Optimising and planning internal glass cutting plan.
- Optimising and planning TPS and GEL stations.
- Interface with the production to follow priorities, WIP management, remakes, missing scans, missing glasses, liaising with kitting/ supervisor/ logistics etc.
- Prepare all work orders, labels, and production paperwork
- Prepare despatch and packing plan for logistics.
- Provide production status and advice of any delays in a timely manner.
- Attend morning priority review, mid-day, and end of day review meetings.
- Raises any red flags immediately to determine actions to prevent impact to OTD.
- Assisting the Operations Manager with margin analysis and the cost of subcontracting and the effect on the margin.
Your Profile
- MS Office: Word, Excel
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience in planning in a manufacturing environment
- Glass Office experience desirable
- University Degree educated preferred
- GCSE’s x5 (C and above)- English and Mathematics inclusive
