Reporting to the Senior Shift Supervisor, having responsibility for the day-to-day production and overall supervision of the production operators.

• Supervise daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality and productivity standards are met.
• Work with the Senior Shift Supervisor to organise and manage production shifts for smooth workflow, maintaining WIP levels and reallocating resources to meet output targets.
• Monitor productivity, identify root causes of underperformance, and report it to the Senior Shift Supervisor.
• Keep production boards and KPI date up to date.
• Ensuring 5S, OTIF, process control, and operator maintenance are completed to a high standard.
• Maintain team discipline, attendance, and high work standards.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems, maintaining accurate, legible, and properly filed documentation.
• Achieve production targets for quality, productivity, and Right First Time; report deviations and quality issues promptly.
• Promote best practices and provide feedback to operators.
• Support continuous improvement with the Senior Shift Supervisor and Operations Manager.

• Demonstrate a good knowledge of Health and Safety
• Be able to lead, manage and develop a team
• Natural and strong leadership
• Have a working knowledge of continuous improvement
• Have good organizational and priority management
• Likely to be competent in IOSH Managing Safely
• 3 years of supervision experience
• 5 years of manufacturing experience
