A Multi-skilled maintenance engineer who is qualified in an mechanical and/or electrical discipline. They have experience in maintaining complex electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems. The role consists of both preventative and reactive maintenance.

• Effectively planning and carrying out preventative maintenance procedures within the framework, ensuring all equipment is safe to run and is cleaned to the highest possible standard. Preventative maintenance is the main driver for with role.
• Equipment downtime must be kept to an absolute minimum through timely and thoughtful fault diagnosis and rectification.
• Maintain Engineering Stock Control completing regular audits, ensure all engineering tools are well maintained – correctly stored and kept clean to the highest of engineering standards.
• Manage all engineering consumables to ensure all are adequately supplied and stored in the appropriate and safe storages.
• Health and Safety will be your highest priority at all times.
• Contribute towards continuous improvement and development projects
• Responsible for delivering KPI targets set by the Operations and Engineering Managers.
• Effective up-keep and maintenance of site facilities.

• Previous experience in preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems (Control Panels/Systems, AC/DC motors and drives, low voltage DC, single and three phase wiring, etc).
• Experience of self-managing, PPM planning & completing documentation integral to PPM Systems
• Working within a small maintenance team
• Used to working in 5S environment ensuring work areas, tools, equipment and engineering stock are kept in an organized manner

• Minimum ONC or Time Served Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
